Coder Dojo
Coder Dojo is a global initiative to have college students teaching young students in lower, middle, and high schools. 'Anyone aged seven to seventeen can visit a Dojo where they can learn to code, build a website, create an app or a game, and explore technology in an informal, creative, and social environment.'
I have been involved in Coder Dojo at Dartmouth since Winter 2016, and since have gone to Windosor High School and Crossroads Academy (lower+middle school). At Windsor we often mentor the kids as they work on their FLL (First Lego League) programs and robot design, and at Crossroads we recently began teaching Swift using Swift Playgrounds which has been quite successful
